This project was quite time consuming but it made a huge impact. For those who believe that you must have a large team of extremely talented individuals to pull off such an installation, think again.

While this was my concept, it did take many people to make it happen. I first provided the diagram of how the stars would be placed in the space (you can click on the image below to download a pdf copy). My team was not a bunch of artists, but everyone contributed ideas that made the process turn out well. It took the whole team's contributions to make this a success.

My students actually cut out all the stars, but the team glued the stars on the threads and placed them in the space over a four week period. Watch the video below to see how things came together. And, please, feel free to borrow the idea to make it work for your own church.
