Tyrus was asked to consider this project for St. Anne's Episcopal Church in the Spring of 2010. The general parameters called for the creation of a mural for the garden courtyard at the center of the building complex. The artist decided on an image of Christ in Gethsemane to match the surroundings and to enhance the existing scheme of imagery at the church.
The images to the right and videos below show the progress of this project, as well as the details and placement of the finished mural. There are further explanations about the process and concept of the work available at Tyrus's Eye on Art.
